Built for how dev teams actually spend their day
We built Hourvio for software teams who spend their days switching between code, stand-ups, reviews, and the occasional support escalation. Every hour matters for sprint planning and for the invoice if you bill clients, but nobody on the team wants a tool that treats engineers like suspects. We trust your team to log their own work, and we made that the fastest option.
Hourvio organizes projects the way dev teams already think: an epic or a sprint is a project, stories and tickets are tasks. The timer captures task-level time with a description, Google and Outlook sync pulls meetings onto the same calendar view, and the weekly report rolls everything up per sprint when retro time comes.
Everything runs on European servers in Germany. No screenshots, no webcam monitoring, no keystroke logging, no mouse tracking. Engineers are craftspeople, not factory workers, and the product treats them that way.
Task-level tracking
Every time entry attaches to a project and a task, so the weekly report splits cleanly between features, bug fixes, reviews, and support work.
Calendar meetings alongside code
Google and Outlook sync shows stand-ups, planning, and customer calls on the same calendar view as the time you tracked against tasks.
One-click timer from any view
Start the timer on the task you're working on from any screen, continue from your last entry in one tap, and long-running timer alerts catch forgotten stops.
Sprint-style reports
Filter the weekly or summary report by project, date range, and tag to produce a per-sprint view of where the team actually spent time.
Billable vs non-billable split
Every entry carries a billable flag, so client hours roll into invoices and internal time stays out of the client file without manual cleanup.
Audit trails for time
Append-only audit logs record every edit, approval, and export with user, IP, and a field-level diff, retained up to ten years on Business.
Set up projects and tasks
Create a project per epic, sprint, or product area, then add tasks that match your stories and ticket types. Attach a color, a client, and a member list.

Hook up Google Calendar or Outlook from integrations once, and every meeting your team has lands on the Hourvio calendar view alongside tracked time. Stand-ups, planning, reviews, and customer calls become part of the same weekly picture.

Engineers run the timer against a project and a task, or add entries manually after a focus block. The description field carries the ticket reference or commit context, and every entry snapshots the rate that was effective at creation for billable work.

Filter the weekly report by project and date range for a sprint retro view. The summary report groups hours by task, by developer, or by tag, and the calendar view puts meetings and focus time side by side so nothing gets double-counted.

Push billable hours into a branded PDF invoice for client work, or export the detailed report to CSV and Excel for internal reviews. Every export keeps the active filters, so what you reviewed on screen is exactly what lands in the file.

One-click timer with task context
Timer, manual entry, and weekly grid with descriptions, billable flags, and rate snapshots so every hour lands on the right task.
Projects that match how engineers think
Projects bundle tasks, members, colors, and a client. Tags layer across sprints, teams, or priority levels for the reports you actually want.
Google and Outlook calendar sync
Two-way calendar read shows stand-ups, reviews, and customer calls alongside tracked time, so meeting hours stop disappearing from the weekly picture.
