We built Hourvio for outsourcing and IT services firms that deliver client work through a mix of employees and contractors. Every hour has to hit the right client, the right contractor has to be scoped to the right project, contract hours have to be defended against overrun, and the client needs to see a clean delivery report that matches the invoice. Sloppy records lose margin, and broader access than a contractor needs creates a compliance problem nobody wants.
Hourvio splits the model cleanly. Freelancer profiles live alongside the team with contract value, contract hours, hourly cost rate, and end date kept separate from standard member management. Project membership scopes what every contractor can see, module visibility toggles restricted areas off per role, and budget alerts fire at ninety and one hundred percent of contract hours before any overrun lands on the client invoice.
