Connect your calendar, keep your context
Google Calendar and Outlook events appear alongside tracked time, so the meeting you joined and the work you logged live in the same view.
One real integration, done properly
We built calendar sync for one honest reason: the meetings on your calendar are already the context for the time you track. Connect Google Calendar or Outlook once, and every event you are invited to shows up alongside your tracked entries in the Hourvio calendar view. You see the shape of your day without switching tabs or retyping anything.
Sync is per user, authorized with OAuth, and runs automatically in the background. If you want to turn a calendar event into a tracked entry, pick the project and click convert — the description, the times, and the duration carry across. No manual retyping, no copy-paste into a spreadsheet.
Calendar sync is in the Free plan. We would rather ship one integration that actually works than a wall of logos that break the first time you try them.
Google Calendar sync
Connect a Google account via OAuth and see every event from your selected calendars alongside tracked time in the same view.
Outlook Calendar sync
Connect a Microsoft account via OAuth and see every event from your Outlook calendars alongside tracked time, the same way.
Per-user authorization
Every user authorizes their own calendars with OAuth. One person's connection never exposes another person's events.
Automatic background sync
Events refresh automatically on a schedule so the calendar view stays current without any manual refresh or sync button.
Events alongside tracked time
Meetings and tracked entries share the same calendar view. The shape of your day is visible without switching between apps.
Track directly from a calendar event
Convert any synced event into a tracked time entry. Pick the project and the billable flag; the description and the times carry across.
Per-user authorization
Each user authorizes their own calendar via OAuth; access is scoped to that user, so nobody else sees their events.
Pause or disconnect any time
Pause a calendar temporarily without losing the configuration, or disconnect fully to revoke the OAuth token and remove the integration.
Google Calendar: your meetings, your work, one view
Authorize Google once, choose which of your calendars to include, and every event from those calendars appears in the Hourvio calendar view alongside your tracked entries. You see the meeting you joined at 10 a.m. right next to the two hours you logged at 11. When a meeting finishes, one click turns it into a tracked entry against the project of your choice.
- One OAuth connection per user, authorized directly in the product
- Select exactly which of your Google calendars to include
- Events appear alongside tracked time in the calendar view
- Convert any event into a tracked entry with one click
- Background refresh keeps the view current without manual action
- Disconnect any time; the OAuth token is revoked immediately
Outlook Calendar: the same, for the Microsoft side of your team
For teams on Microsoft 365, Outlook Calendar sync works identically to Google. Authorize your account, pick your calendars, and Outlook events show up alongside tracked time in the calendar view. Mixed teams can have some users on Google and others on Outlook without any configuration at the workspace level — every user authorizes what they need.
- Full parity with Google Calendar sync, end to end
- Authorize a Microsoft 365 account via OAuth
- Outlook events appear alongside tracked time the same way
- Mixed teams can run Google and Outlook side by side
- Per-user configuration keeps personal calendars private
- Events refresh in the background and pause without losing config
