We built reports for three audiences: managers who need to see how their team is spending time, finance teams who need exportable numbers, and founders who want a one-glance view of utilization. Every report reads directly from tracked entries, so the numbers match whatever is in the timesheet without a reconciliation step.
Basic reports are on the Free plan so every workspace gets the summary, detailed, and weekly views from day one. Exports to CSV and Excel and the advanced reports unlock on Starter. Financial amounts and rates respect workspace policy, so role-based visibility is enforced in the data, not in the UI.
Managers see their direct reports, members see their own data, and admins see everything with financial amounts. Role-based data minimization is a default, not a premium add-on, because it is how European teams actually work.
Summary report
Group by project, client, user, category, tag, date, week, or month. Shows billable vs non-billable totals and amounts for admins.
Detailed report
Row-by-row ledger with description, project, client, task, tags, user, date, duration, billable, and approval status.
Weekly report
Matrix view with users or projects as rows and calendar week days as columns. Daily totals, weekly total, and gaps highlighted.
Time audit report
Flags entries with issues like too_short or missing_project. Investigate suspicious entries before payroll or invoicing.
Attendance report
Per user, per day attendance with first and last entry, total hours, break duration, and overtime. Includes time-off hours.
Personal dashboard
KPI summary for a single user with project breakdown pie chart, billable split, top activities, and date range picker.
Team dashboard
Real-time roster view showing running timers, latest activity, and today's totals for every member. Admin and manager only.
CSV and Excel exports (Starter+)
Auto-format detection, custom column selection, and multi-sheet Excel workbooks for deeper analysis in any tool.

Summary, detailed, and weekly views
Three core reports cover most questions. Summary aggregates by any dimension for the bird's-eye view. Detailed gives a row-per-entry ledger for audits and client hand-offs. Weekly pivots users or projects against calendar days for utilization reviews on Monday mornings.

Audit and rounding for precision
The time audit report flags entries that look wrong: too short, missing project, or other rule hits. Combine it with workspace-level rounding (1, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 30, or 60 minutes up, down, or nearest) and you get payroll-ready numbers without chasing people on Slack every Friday.
